The Milwaukee Brewer’s American Family Field (formally called Miller Park), is located right in the center of the city. American Family field has vast parking lots for tailgating, which makes it ideal for Milwaukee area residents, but a bit less convenient for visitors to the city.
We always suggest staying at one of the best hotels near American Family field and catching a free shuttle into a game. That way you don’t have to worry about driving, or paying for parking, and you have a day to explore all the things to do in Milwaukee.
Unless you want to pay for a taxi or ride-sharing service before and after the game, it makes better sense to stay at a hotel that offers a shuttle to and from the game. Read below for a quick guide to area hotels that can make your visit to Miller Park an easy adventure.
1. Aloft Milwaukee Downtown

3. Best Western Milwaukee West
The Best Western Milwaukee West may not have artfully inspired interiors, or a gourmet restaurant attached, but what matters most about this hotel is that the rooms are really affordable, and it probably is the only hotel near American Family field that you can walk to the stadium from, saving you a boring shuttle ride.
The walk should take you about twenty minutes, but considering most of the baseball season falls in summer, this shouldn’t be much of a problem. The hotel is also located nearby other area attractions, like Kegel’s Inn which has some of the best German food and fish fries in the city.
