1. Milwaukee Brewing Company
MKE Brewing has unseated Lakefront as the best brewery tour in Milwaukee with their fun-loving ‘Beer in hand tour’. It’s hard to top a man with a megaphone comically explaining the brewing process while you sip on 10% abv brews. All of us Milwaukee-ians are excited to see what the new downtown brewery will bring. Hopefully, new great beers – or at least the same great beer and more of it!
For only $12 this is one of our favorite Milwaukee brewery tours. All brewery tours include souvenir pint glass, beer samples, a beer token good for a beer at set local bars & restaurants, and a tour. The beer sampling starts 30 minutes before your scheduled tour and is open for two-hours of sampling. They have 12 beers on tap that rotate so there is always something new to try. Make reservations here otherwise, they do save a set number of tickets for walk-ins. If you leave sober from this tour, it’s your own fault!

2. Lakefront Brewing
Lakefront is still a tour not to be missed on a trip to Milwaukee. However, they need to step back up to their glory days of fun over rules – and start over serving everyone on their tours again! Lakefront’s beer can go toe to toe with any beer in the city and their tours invented the way a brewery tour should be. However, in the past couple of years, they have let their foot off the gas and let MKE in to take the reigns as the best brewery tour in Milwaukee. 3. Sprecher Brewing
A Milwaukee Staple Sprecher brewing is a nod to the city’s roots with a warehouse full of German-style lagers to sample while on one of the original Milwaukee brewery tours. sprecher has been around way before craft beer was cool, so much so that they are locally just as well know for their craft of soft drinks rootbeers as they are their actual beers. In addition to their great beer, the kiddos can sample their way into a sugar coma with the wide variety of quality rootbeers and flavored soft drinks at Sprecher. Their regular tour includes a beer tasting souvenir glass and 4 samples of beer. There will be 20 different beers, sodas, and ciders on tap to choose from.

4. City Lights Brewing Co
One of the hottest breweries in Milwaukee right now is City Lights and the turning up the heat of some of the city’s most established brewmasters. Make your way to City Lights and you won’t be disappointed with a brewery tour. Their tour doesn’t come with many beer tastings, only one full beer and a souvenir glass for $10. 5. MillerCoors Brewing Tour
The last big brewery left in Milwaukee is still brewing strong since 1855. Taking the tour at Miller Brewing is different than the other microbreweries and craft breweries in Milwaukee. Here you’ll get to see a very large scale brewery from the start of the process until the end. Every day Miller Brewing brews, packs, and ships millions of beers.
At the end of the tour, you’ll get a chance to sample three beers brewed at Miller and walk around the interesting beer caves thought to be some of the largest in the world.
